About this event

Plan to attend our final educational presentation for our Gun Violence Prevention Study. This time, we’ll focus on how data leads to preventing domestic violence deaths. We will hear from Kathleen Conlon Wasik, who is part of a team that collects and records data from the Illinois Office of Vital Statistics related to preventable violent deaths, such as domestic violence, suicides, and unintentional firearm deaths, on behalf of the Centers for Disease Control and the Illinois Department of Public Health. Kathleen's jam is exploring data collaboratively with communities and supporting community efforts to find meaning in the data.

Kathleen Conlon Wasik is an outreach coordinator with the Buehler Center for Health Policy and Economics within Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine. Register with the Zoom link below.
